Oat milk is good. Good Oat is gooder.
- It’s made in Aotearoa from oats grown on family farms inthe South Island.
- Squished and squeezed to keep those healthy beta-glucans in.
- It's made for coffee, so it steams and stretches to create a super silky microfoam.
- It doesn't just taste good, it's good for the land, the growers, you, your grandkids, and their grandkids too.
Where are All Good’s Oats from?
Right here in Aotearoa New Zealand! Around 90% of our oats come from Southland while the other 10% comes forms family farms in Otago and Canterbury.
What is a beta-glucan?
Oats naturally contain beta-glucans. They are a sugar compound and are a natural source of soluble fibre. Evidence suggests beta-glucan may help lower blood cholesterol, especially the ‘bad’ LDL cholesterol.
What oil do you use in Good Oat?
Our Oat Milk contains rapeseed oil that is locally produced in New Zealand and is non-GMO. Plant milks often feature oil in their ingredients list, the reason we use rapeseed oil is because of its neutral taste and it also helps us deliver the best texture (and for performance when foaming for coffee). It also helps give a balanced nutritional profile and gives our Oat Milk a creamy texture perfect for your morning cuppa. The percentage of rapeseed oil in each carton is 0.8% for the Original and 2.3% for the Barista blend.
Is Good Oat sweetened?
We don’t sweeten Good Oat, as our oats are best left as nature intended. Any sugars present in the nutrition panel are naturally-occurring – they come from the oats – and these intrinsic sugars are not ones we need to worry about. Good Oats' slightly sweet flavour is down to these natural sugars.
Does All Good Oat Milk contain traces of nuts or eggs?
Allergens are an increasing concern since they can cause immediate and sometimes severe symptoms. Handling allergens and making sure allergens do not contaminate any of our non-allergen products is part of the work our manufacturing partner does. Our manufacturer does not work with products or ingredients containing peanuts or nuts, and eggs are not on the line where our Oat Milk is produced.
Does Good Oat contain gluten?
Yes, oats naturally contain small amounts of gluten in the form of avenin, a protein similar to what’s found in wheat, barley, and rye.
Is Good Oat GMO-free and vegan?
Yes, it is GMO-free and vegan - our oat milk is good for you and good for the land.
Is All Good Oat Milk organic?
Good Oat isn’t certified organic, but it’s still good—for you, for growers, and for the land.
Oat milk is one of the most sustainable plant milks out there, using less water and producing fewer CO₂ emissions. Plus, we’re all about transparency—our oat farmers don’t use glyphosate from sowing to harvest, and all oats are tested at the processing plant.
Where are the coconuts sourced from?
We source our coconut cream ethically from Indonesia, the world's leading coconut producer!
Is Good Coconut Soy and Gluten-Free?
Yes! Unlike most other coconut milks, which often contain soy, we went the extra mile to create a coconut milk that’s completely soy and gluten-free.
Why do you use Food & Beverage Cartons and can they be recycled in New Zealand?
Food & Beverage Cartons are currently the best option available to All Good to provide great tasting plant milk safely to our customers. We are always looking for alternative options, but other materials like glass and plastic create a larger carbon and water footprint than we are comfortable with, even when they are recycled.
ThinkStep NZ has completed a full carbon footprint life-cycle assessment of the 9 leading milk packaging options. Cartons, including ours, came out as the most carbon friendly option, other environmental factors were also considered. Glass and PET were significantly worse options even when glass was assumed to be recycled and cartons were not.
We are members of the FBC Recycling Scheme which ensures there are accessible cartons drop off points for Kiwis. The cartons taken to these locations are guaranteed to be recycled through saveBOARD.
Tell us about your partnership with saveBOARD
saveBOARD is changing the game when it comes to recycling in New Zealand by transforming used beverage cartons into low-carbon, NZ-made building materials.
They work with local government and community groups to set up drop-off points across the country, making it easier for Kiwis to recycle their cartons. We’re also exploring ways to push for bigger change - our ultimate goal is to see cartons like ours collected in curbside recycling bins nationwide.

Displaying our Climate Footprints
All Good Bananas and Good Oat Barista proudly display their carbon footprints - independently calculated by Carbon Cloud. This number encompasses emissions across the entire supply chain, from farm to supermarket.
Through detailed data tracking, transparency, and continuous reduction efforts, we're committed to lowering our environmental impact. By sharing this information, we empower Kiwis to make climate-conscious choices.
What is the difference between All Good’s Barista and Original Oat Milk?
The Original is to take home and have as you would regular milk or plant milk. The Barista version has a slightly higher fat content and is the best plant milk for coffee - but it’s also delicious with cereal - like full-fat dairy milk. Both products can be used with coffee.
Where are All Good Plant Milks Made?
Good Oat and Good Coconut are made right here in Aotearoa, specifically, Auckland! Bringing production local was a big step in our sustainability journey, reducing our carbon footprint while supporting local industry and farmers.
How is Good Oat Made?
Pardon the technical language, but we’re nerds when it comes to milking oats. It’s how we retain the creamy flavour and oat fibre - those ‘better’ -glucans - that make Good Oat all good. Unlike other oat milks, All Good is made from the whole oat, not oat flour or inferior substitutes. The kernels are lightly milled, not ground or blitzed in a blender, and mixed with water and enzymes. These enzymes are the secret to a smoothly milky oat milk.
Here’s how it's done.
First we blend oats and water and we add natural enzymes to break down the oat starch into smaller nutrients, like maltose (also called malt sugar), which naturally sweetens our oat milk. We then remove bran, the loose shells from the oats, leaving the loose fibres — beta-glucans. Now we have an oat base that’s an excellent source of nutrition containing macronutrients, protein, fat, and carbohydrates. Next we add a few more ingredients like rapeseed oil to make our Barista Oat Milk foam beautifully, calcium and vitamins and we pasteurise to extend its shelf life. Once the milk has been heat-treated (pasteurised), the fat droplets are broken down into smaller droplets to make sure all the liquid mixes properly and stays silky smooth. Then we fill our cartons ready to drink.
Do I need to store my unopened Good Oat or Good Coconut in the fridge?
Nope. All Good plant milks have a shelf life of 12 months from manufacture, so it can be kept in the cupboard until you’re ready to use it. Once opened, keep it in the fridge and we recommend consuming it within 5 days. Make sure to shake well before use!
